Oval 60s/70s tablecloth huge vibrant flowers

In superb condition with no sign of previous use, this vintage 1960s/1970s intensely vivid cotton tablecloth has a spectacular floral design of huge brilliant orange flowers with limey avocado foliage on a magenta background. Purchased in Denmark but believed to be Swedish or Finnish in origin (possibly by Finlayson of Finland), the textile measures 136 x 144 cm (so is slightly oval rather than perfectly circular) and is an exceptional example of the bold textile designs found in Scandinavia in this period and so popular again today.
