Södahl small circular apple mats (2) Danish

Produced in Denmark in the late 1960's or early 70's by Södahl Design A/S, the company set up in the early 60s by textile artist Hans-Jürgen Schöbel, these small occasional mats have a classic Södahl screen-printed apples design in rich dark brown and terracotta on a natural ivory background. Trimmed in dark brown piping, the two mats have a diameter of approx 19.5 cm each and are in crisp, mint unused condition.
