1960s/70s avocado green clock by Esge of Germany

Vintage avocado green electric alarm clock made in Germany in the 1960s/1970s by Esge. The clock is marked on the base with its model number LDV 123 and with the initials D, S and N indicating that it was intended for the Scandinavian market. Fitted with its original European two-pin plug, the clock measures 12cm (4.75 inches) wide, 8.5cm (3.25 inches) high and 6cm (2.5 inches) deep. The clock is in working order except for the alarm function, which seems not to be activating.
