Grautex Soldug textile art print by Bodil Bødtker-Naess

Bodil Bødtker-Næss (1942–1988) was a half-Danish, half-Norwegian textile artist who trained and later taught at Copenhagen's School of Applied Arts. In the 1970s she became one of Denmark's most prominent textile artists, producing designs for both printed and woven textiles and working with leading textiles companies including Grautex, C. Olesen and Georg Jensen Damask. This sunburst screenprint on linen in lemon yellow, warm golden yellow and mustard is one of her works for Grautex and is entitled Soldug (Sundew). Measuring 117 x 129 cm, the artwork is in perfect condition and is signed on the bottom border "Soldug. A Grautex Art Handprint. Design Bodil Bødtker-Naess".
