Green eyeball table lamp vintage Danish 1970s

A vintage retro-style table lamp made in Denmark in the 1970s, very likely by Abo Randers. The green metal eyeball/bubble head can be swivelled from side to side through 180 degrees, and squeezing the two arms of its mounting clip together allows it to be moved freely up and down the stem. The heavy weighted base gives the lamp great stability and has a diameter of 12.5cm (5 inches). There is some mottling to the interior surface of the head which is not visible during normal use; otherwise condition is excellent. The lamp is in working order and retains its original lead which has a stylish 1970s inline on/off switch and a European two-pin plug. It takes a small Edison screw golfball bulb max 40w (not supplied).
