HBH red halogen desk and work lamp Danish 1970s

This vintage 1970s halogen desk lamp has a chrome telescopic extending arm and a large and chunky black on/off button. It is fitted with a continental-style two-pin plug and is in excellent condition. Its base measures 14 x 7cm and when the arm is fully extended the overall height is 45cm. Weighting in the base keeps the lamp stable when extended, and the arm and head can be adjusted in several planes. The lamp head takes a 12v halogen bulb (supplied) and folds right down for storage. The base is marked "HBH mini type 8340", indicating that the lamp was made by Danish lighting company H Bødtcher-Hansen.
