Geometric lozenge textile in muted greens and oranges

Purchased in Norway but almost certainly originating from Germany, this vintage 1960s textile has a bold geometric design of lozenges in classic midcentury modern colours – a spectrum of muted greens (mint, avocado, moss and earth) and another of muted oranges (orange sorbet, ochre, ginger and terracotta). Each lozenge measures 30 x 40cm (12 x 15.75 inches). The 100 per cent polyacrylic textile has a texture rather like woven wool cloth and measures 118 x 122.5cm (46.5 x 48 inches). It is finished on all four sides, the top and bottom edges being overstitched, and is in excellent condition.
