A pair of Phister wall or table lamps by Hans Due for Fog & Morup
A pair of Phister wall or table lamps by Hans Due for Fog & Morup
Offered for sale together as a pair (the price listed is for both lamps), these classic space-age late 1960s/early 1970s Phister wall lamps were designed by Hans Due and produced by top Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup. The light orange/rich eggy yellow lipstick-like ABS plastic tubes can be adjusted to direct the light in any direction, the outer section which forms the shade revolving independently around 360 degrees while the inner section which holds the bulb and is fixed to the wall remains in position. Slots in the lamps' base allow them to be hung on a picture hook or nail, or they can alternatively be used as freestanding bedside or table lamps. The lamps take a small Edison screw (SES) candle or golf ball bulb max 40w (not supplied) and are fitted with European 2-pin plugs. The lamps have a diameter of 8.5 cm and a projection of 18.5 cm and are in excellent condition with only minor signs of previous use.
