Danish hanging ball lamp with adjustable frame

Produced in Denmark in the 1970s by Danish lighting company Abo Randers, this robust little ball lamp measures 12 cm across the width of the red metal head, while the width of the frame including the handles (which tighten or loosen the frame's grip on the head, allowing it to be adjusted and then fixed at a particular orientation) is 14cm. The lamp is designed to be suspended from a ceiling hook or other hanging device (not supplied) and has an electric cable more than 4.8 metres in length so that its position can be some distance from an electric socket. The light is in excellent condition, takes a small SES Edison screw golfball bulb (not supplied) and has a European style 2-pin plug.
