Bubble lamps with triangular frames 1960s/1970s
Purchased in Denmark and dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s, these glossy lacquered metal bubble aka eyeball lamps have a triangular stand through which the lamp head can be rotated in a 360-degree arc. Very stylish as table or desk lamps, they are equally suited for use as wall lights, and for this purpose the stand functions as a wall bracket and comes with two predrilled holes that may be used for mounting. Offered for sale individually, the lamps take a small Edison screw golfball bulb max 40w (not supplied) and come with their original inline on/off switches and European two-pin plugs with brand new wiring. They stand 23cm (9 inches) tall and the base footprint measures approximately 14cm (5.5 inches) by 9cm (3.5 inches).
